Congratulations from MP to Deeside Community Transport
Aboyne Centre Enhancement Scheme (ACES)
The funding, from Rural Aberdeenshire LEADER, of more than £87,000 has been matched by other funding from Aberdeenshire Council and Scottish Enterprise. Businesses in Aboyne would be expected to pay around 50% of the cost themselves in improving their shop frontage. For Businesses the project is on-going until August 2013.
The closing date for businesses to sign up for the project was September 2012.
The project will bring together public and private sector partners in a way that has not been tried before in rural Scotland and will see over £230,000 being invested to make Aboyne even more attractive for residents and visitors.

Bike Park
Aboyne Bike Park is a community project, which was built in 2013 in the Bell Wood, Aboyne. It is managed by a voluntary committee called the Aboyne Bike Park Association, along with Mid Deeside Community Trust who own the bike park and woodland on behalf of the community. If you would like to get involved in supporting the Bike Park please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or telephone 013398 85222 (Monday - Friday, 9am to 1pm). The Bike Park is an open-all-hours facility with no charge and no on site supervision. We encourage all bikers to use it responsibly with due regard to the safety and enjoyment of other users of the bike park and woodland. The trails are inspected regularly by a member of the committee but if you see any hazards or damage please report at once to Mid Deeside Community Trust.
