Co-op Donation towards a New Bus
We were delighted to collect a cheque for £5,253.16 from Gemma and Tony at the Coop in Aboyne, which has completed our pot of funds to purchase a new bus. Our regular passengers of the Dial-a-bus were there to gladly receive the cheque on behalf of Mid Deeside Community Trust. The Dial-a-Bus formerly known as the “Hopper” is a much loved and well used rural transport that provides a door to door service for those over the age of 60 years, geographically remote, disabled or unemployed. Our buses are all fitted with accessible lifts, handrails and lower steps to ensure transport for all.
